A fashion student described as being “kind and beautiful”
was found hanged after her boyfriend broke up with her
over text.
After getting the message, Nina Paunova, 20, from
Hull, drove her car at 60mph through a hedge. She
was later found hanged less than a mile from boyfriend
Samuel Scott’s home after having cut herself.
Mirror Online reports that she had previously
threatened to jump off a balcony following an argument
with Scott. The pair had been due to fly out on a
holiday together to Menorca on September 11 last year
after rekindling their relationship in the summer.
Her family had previously warned her about the
relationship.
In the hours before she was found dead, Nina sent a
text to her mum which read: “I guess I should
have listened sooner to you.”
